The Blam! Bang! team is talented and hails from diverse creative
backgrounds. We believe that creativity blossoms best in an environment of
openness, humility, and honest collaboration. That’s why you won’t see
anyone working solely in their area of specialty. Our goal is to foster an
atmosphere where everyone’s creative voice is heard—and that makes each of
us better. The end result is the best possible solution for our clients.
Tim Lapetino
The principal of Blam! Bang! brings his background in print journalism and
information solutions into the creative mix. Tim is an earnest advocate of
immediacy, emotional connection, and user-centeredness in design. Besides
being the loudest mouth in the group, he also enjoys reading, writing, and
thinking about the larger issues of graphic design.
Kacey Nelson
Having spent three years as a textbook illustrator and designer, Kacey
infuses his work with a craftsman’s loving touch—meticulous, measured, and
beautiful. He is relentless in his pursuit of beautiful design, and is
always willing to sacrifice his ideas at the altar of a better solution.
Kacey now splits his time between Blam! Bang!, and as a designer at the
Mettler Center.
Bryan Roach
Some people might call Bryan a programmer. But at Blam! Bang!, that’s almost
an insult. We think of his excellent work as Code Design, because his
inspired, intuitive problem-solving is really just another step in the
design process. At his best, Bryan has solved design problems using only
sketches, conversation, and an old ball of string.
